This past Sunday, I had the privilege of speaking in front of my home church, Beaver Dam Baptist. It is always refreshing to go back and see lots of familiar faces who have supported me through all of my work and I always look forward to going back. I, as has become a pattern, was blown away by the support. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to everyone after the service and catching up with people I don't see nearly enough.
During my talk, I spoke about how God has been working in my life to get me where I am and why I am working at CSF. After that, I introduced the church to CSF and what we do here, using the "Funnel of Ministry" to explain how we try to minister and reach people on campus. My home church has definitely been instrumental in where I am in my spiritual walk as well as developing my values and what I believe. I will always keep this church with me as I begin my life in ministry.
I hope you will all be praying for me as I continue to work here and look forward to speaking to you more in the future.
