Winter Retreat

I just arrived back to the house after a long and tiring--but God-filled and exciting weekend. We took about 200 students (our largest Winter Retreat ever, which tends to be much smaller than our Fall Retreat) to Gatlinburg for a weekend of fun and worship. We were joined by Jon Tibbs and his worship band for music and Rob McDowell, a former CSF campus minister, for speaking. 

Lexington and UK's campus are great places to serve and we all enjoy being here, but it is certainly refreshing to get away and "retreat" and simply spend time with God. We were joined by many new students and students who aren't leaders or involved in the ministry, which made for a great trip. Please pray that the new students on fall retreat continue to foster the new relationships they made and that God uses this retreat to work on their hearts.
